Abstract: The antiphospholipid antibodies (aPLs) are a heterogeneous group of immunoglobulins that have been related with alterations in blood coagulability in recent years. Patients with elevated titers of these antibodies have a high probability to develop thrombotic events, including cerebral infarct (CI).
