Distúrbios cardiovasculares na acromegalia

Abstract: A acromegalia acarreta uma série de distúrbios ao sistema cardiovascular, decorrentes da exposição crônica a níveis elevados de GH e IGF-1. Estes distúr-bios são os principais responsáveis pelo aumento da mortalidade de acromegáli-cos.
