General Council of the Province of Pará and the Definition of the Indigenist Politics in the Empire of Brazil (1829-31)

Abstract: The objective of this article is to demonstrate how General Council of the Province of Grão-Pará discussed and proposed projects that aimed to intervene in the indigenist politics in operation, between 1829 and 1831.
