Ainda Não Sei Ler e Escrever: alunos indígenas e o suposto fracasso escolar

Abstract

IUniversidade Federal da Grande Dourados (UFGD), Dourados/MS -Brasil RESUMO -Ainda Não Sei Ler e Escrever: alunos indígenas e o suposto fracasso escolar. O processo de leitura e escrita de alunos indígenas deve ser problematizado em relação ao fracasso escolar, cuja terminologia é aplicada aos alunos que não alcançam as expectativas estabelecidas pelo sistema de ensino, cujo parâmetro é pautado na educação para o não indígena. Este estudo objetiva discutir o suposto fracasso escolar, no campo da leitura e da escrita, de alunos indígenas Guarani, Kaiowá e Terena, em Dourados/MS. Fundamenta-se na perspectiva sociopolítica dos Estudos Culturais e dos Estudos do Letramento, adotando o caminho investigativo da etnografia. Palavras-chave: Educação Escolar Indígena. Reading and writing process of indigenous students should be questioned in relation to the school failure. This is applied to students who do not reach the expectations established by the learning system, whose parameter is grounded in education for nonindigenous people. This study aimed to discuss the alleged school failure in the fields of reading and writing of Guarani, Kaiowá, and Terena indigenous students, in Dourados/MS. It is based on the sociopolitical perspective of Cultural Studies, and Literacy Studies, choosing ethnography as the investigative way.
