Abstract: Resumo A medicalização é um processo ideológico que transforma problemas de ordem social em biológicos e tem sido legitimado pela Medicina e pela Psicologia em vários momentos históricos para ocultar desigualdades sociais, colocando sobre o indivíduo a responsabilidade pelo seu fracasso.
