The perception of Elementary School teachers about their mental health was the focus of this research. This is a quantitative research that seeks to understand the perceptions of mental health conditions in public schools in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The data collection method used was a questionnaire adapted from the Mental Health and Work Protocol answered by 249 teachers. Data analysis was carried out using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences - SPSS 18 software. It was found, as main results, that satisfaction, motivation and identity indices with the teaching activity are very significant. Teachers indicate commitment to work, value the profession, but complain that socially they are not valued, but paradoxically are heavily medicated.

In this theoretical essay, we explore the imperative to reposition Clinical Psychology, emphasizing the challenges it faces due to limitations imposed by biases that restrict the utilization of its knowledge to conventional therapeutic settings. We contemplate the necessity to, at least partially, overcome the fragmentation of psychological knowledge to foster the emergence of more integrative approaches. We underscore the resistance that emerges from the broad association of Clinical Psychology with the medical model or the dichotomy of health versus disease. To address this misconception, we stress the importance of integratively linking knowledge constructed across various fields of Psychology. Examples are provided to illustrate the imperative use of innovative strategies in integrating transversal and heterodox approaches, incorporating contributions from Clinical Psychology. The application of adaptable clinical techniques for unconventional contexts, such as utilizing Psychodrama in socio-emotional education, underscores the relevance of this adaptation in addressing issues like violence and the deconstruction of prejudices. In conclusion, the promotion of a more integrative Psychology proves essential for delving deeper into knowledge and devising solutions for complex problems. By challenging prejudices and expanding the application scope of practical-scientific knowledge derived from Clinical Psychology, we highlight its potential contribution to constructing a more comprehensive understanding of the human experience.

Introduction: The association of dipyrone with agranulocytosis has a variable incidence in different studies. The geographic variety, with risk proportions between 0.8 and 23.7, it can be explained by differences in patterns of use, doses, and concomitant use of other drugs. Methodology: Based on this variation of protocols on the use and release of dipyrone, this paper is a study carried out through a literature review, adding data, studies and research related to dipyrone and the association with cases of agranulocytosis, guiding the reasons why is prohibited, or released only by medical prescription in some countries, and unrestricted in others. Results and discussion: Considering the over-used of metamizole by the brazilian, a higher frequency of cases of agranulocytosis was expected, but this has not been the case. due to the undeniable effectiveness of dipyrone as analgesic and antipyretic, its adverse effects are lower compared to other drugs of the same class, such as paracetamol; In 2010, the Federal Public Ministry requested that dipyrone-based drugs be dispensed with a medical prescription, because their adverse effects, however the request was rejected by ANVISA, who claimed that: the incidence of side effects are low and the benefits of the drug outweigh the risks. Considerations: Based on the studies is noticeable the need for more research, with different populations, ethnicities and ages, aiming at reliable and decisive results for the continuity and/or return of the commercialization and safe supply of metamizole.
