Objective: To review literature on organizational studies with a qualitative methodology in Qualis A journals in Brazil from 2015 to 2020. Methods: This is a quantitative-descriptive study that used the Scientific Electronic Library Online (Scielo) database for article search. The sample encompasses 163 studies. Results: most publishing authors are linked to teaching institutions in Southern and Southeastern Brazil; the study determined that most of these studies either used data descriptive analysis or didn't inform the type of study. As for collection methods, most of them used document analysis and a semi-structured interview. Concerning the analysis techniques, content analysis prevailed. Conclusion: in the last two years there has been a decline in the number of articles published. Furthermore, there has been the presence of articles that don't inform basic data such as nature and type of study, which hampers a more accurate identification of each one of them. The study significantly contributes to bibliometric techniques that show how useful the research can be for the discovery of scientific production in the qualitative area.

This paper aims to analyze the sustainability discourse manifested by a public institution dedicated to higher education located in the northeastern region of Brazil, the Federal University of Paraiba, during the time interval between the years 2009 and 2020. It used Sociological Discourse Analysis as a research method. It also used the documentation produced by the institution as a data source, in particular its Institutional Development Plans and Management Reports, as well as the media content produced and broadcast by its television channel and magazine. The research also used conversations held with employees linked to organizational management and observations recorded through photographs. Some questions were the basis for the data analysis: Who is the speaker; What is the position of the speaker; Which audiences did the speaker target; What did the speaker silence in the discourse; How did the speaker organize the speech; The research discovered discursive positions, narrative configurations, and semantic spaces that revealed an institution focused on its social function. It used teaching, research, and extension activities to be active in contact with society but placed its internal challenges in the background. It emerged that, despite understanding the importance of sustainability, internal actions to transform the organization into a laboratory for experimentation in this sense decreased due to the prioritization of combating recurrent socio-economic problems.

Este artigo propõe um estudo acerca da cultura digital e construção de conhecimentos, tendo a análise sociológica discursivo-imagética para a práxis do professor, como o cerne desse estudo. Para tanto, problematizar a imagem como objeto de pesquisa nos incita à investigação dos aspectos multimodais e culturais do discurso imagético, tendo o escopo de análise de imagens e seus significados, um percurso que se encontra por trás do não dito, das entrelinhas e subjetividades apresentadas nas subjetividades do discurso. Com efeito, essa proposta se insere no campo da Sociologia, pela análise sociológica discursivo-imagética, em que averiguar os discursos da imagem se torna um desafio recorrente na cultura digital, principalmente para o docente, que se utiliza dos recursos digitais como ferramentas metodológicas para o ensino e aprendizagem.
