O uso do Escore de Bologna na avaliação da assistência a partos normais em maternidades

Abstract: In the usual risk maternities evaluated, the labor and birth care provided do not match the standards recommended by the World Health Organisation.

“…This tool was only found in some medical records because of the presence of medical students in the maternity clinic who had been instructed by their teacher to use it to monitor labor progress. In contrast, a study conducted in maternity schools located in the Northeast of Brazil identified a frequency of 42% for the use of partograms (35) and of 98.5% in Maternity Clinics located in a southern capital of the country (12) .
