Abstract: Resumo O presente trabalho tem por objetivo refletir sobre os processos de subjetivação que se materializam em dizeres sobre mulheres designadas como desalentadas. Sob a ancoragem na Análise do Discurso filiada a Michel Pêcheux, são recortados enunciados de reportagens que circularam na mídia em 2018/2019 tratando do desalento, nas expressões recentes do desemprego no país.
