Speech-language disorders in CADASIL: a case report

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to report the main speech-language disorders in a patient with CADASIL diagnosis, attending the Speech Therapy School Clinic of a Higher Education Institution from 2008 to 2013. Clinical evaluation of the speech organs was carried out, verifying reduced mobility and tonus of lips, tongue and cheeks, with major repercussions on deglutition in the last two years of care.
