Abstract: Objective: To investigate the occurrence and characteristics of accidents involving potentially contaminated biological material in nurses. Methods: Cross-sectional study involving 121 nurses. The research instrument was a self-applied questionnaire with sociodemographic and occupational accident-related variables.
