Determination of thermotolerant coliforms present in coconut water produced and bottled in the Northeast of Brazil

Abstract: Coconut water is considered to be a natural isotonic drink and its marketing is gradually increasing. The objective of the present study was to evaluate the microbiological quality of the coconut water produced and bottled in the Northeast of Brazil.
