Abstract:Resumo Entre 1826 e 1863, três homens de uma mesma família, os Moreira, foram cônsules de Portugal no Recife e no Rio de Janeiro, articulando negócios pelo Atlântico e prestando serviços de natureza variada. Neste trabalho, estudo as disputas nas quais se envolveram e os diferentes papéis que assumiram.
