Abstract:Resumo: No presente artigo, nos dedicaremos à contextualização e análise acerca de um busto masculino, em mármore, descrito como de “um imperador vestido com um corselete”, encontrado na Vila da Caserna, em Antioquia de Orontes, e identificado como Gordiano III que governou o império romano entre os anos 238 e 244 d.
