Fake News and Small Truths: A Reflection on the Political Competence of Nurses

Abstract: Objective: to present a theoretical discussion about the political competence of nurses in the face of the phenomenon of the spread of fake news and small truths. Discussion: based on critical philosophical-political thinking, the concept of factual truth is described and discussed, as opposed to that of opinion, and its implications in the political and health fields.
