Simuliidae da Amazônia VII. Descrição de Simulium pseudoexiguum sp. n. (Diptera, Nematocera)

Abstract: Sinopse Descrição de uma nova espécie de Diptera-Simuliidae, o Simulium pseudoexiguum, de material coligido no Território Federal de Roraima, Brasil, na estrada BR-174, nas localidades conhecidas como Boca da Mata (60 m) e Campinho (600 m). O material estudado compreende fêmeas capturadas com isca humana e não foi encontrado criadouros naturais das formas imaturas.
