Reflections on mathematical figures and engineering approaches in anthropology

Abstract: This paper presents and discusses some examples of how mathematical figures and engineering approaches can be detected in anthropological theorizing and how a mathematical reading of certain anthropological theories is possible and sometimes fruitful.
