Parentalidad desde la diversidad en Chile

Abstract

Resumen: El objetivo del presente artículo es identificar los obstáculos que enfrentan las personas de la diversidad sexoafectiva respecto del ejercicio de la maternidad/paternidad. Utilizamos el método biográfico, desde un abordaje interseccional, en un proceso investigativo dialógico-recursivo. Realizamos entrevistas a nueve informantes clave pertenecientes a la academia, la psicoterapia, la política y el activismo. Encontramos que existen obstáculos en los ámbitos: simbólico, institucional y fáctico, que se (re)producen y afectan recursivamente. Concluimos que los obstáculos relacionados con el ejercicio de la parentalidad desde la diversidad sexoafectiva generan autolimitaciones afectivas asociadas a la (im)posibilidad de pensarse como potencial madre/padre basadas en el contexto social hostil que enfrentan.
