Sustainability and environmental concerns have been important topics of discussion in recent decades. Green supply chain management assures the effectiveness of public and company policies in greening their operations, increasing the market share, improving the company image and reputation, and increasing profits. The objective of this article is to propose a conceptual framework that considers dimensions, categories, and practices in green supply chain management. After an extensive review of the literature, we identified models and a set of green dimensions, categories, and practices used for green supply chain management. From the analysis of the findings, we propose a conceptual framework that is organized into 3 environmental dimensions, 21 categories, and 64 green practices. The framework can contribute to the literature, given that empirical studies mostly select a limited set of dimensions to evaluate supply chain green practices. Finally, this study offers directions for future research.

Sustainable Supply Chain and Innovation: A Review of the Recent Literature

Increasingly, the effects of supply chains on environmental issues have been a focal point in discussions involving stakeholders, authorities, and customers. The aim of this paper is to inspect how innovation and sustainability are integrated into the wider context of the supply chains. To this end, a systematic literature review was carried out with a particular focus on papers published in recent years (2015–2017) so as to continue from a previous review on the sustainable supply chain innovation topic covering the time span of 1996–2014. The descriptive aspects of the published papers are firstly examined, i.e., the year of publication, journal, research methodology, industry field and country of the study, followed by the thematic ones, i.e., key themes of the innovation process, the types of innovation found, their newness, dimensions, and main theories that emerged. The analysis shows an upward trend of literature in numerical terms and a wider spread of sustainable innovations. Additionally, the research highlights further areas of research that are deserving of attention. These areas include analyses of specific industrial sectors which have been less covered in the published literature; research activities in the less developed countries; more attention on the social dimension of sustainability; a more general contribution from some nations that turned out to be less productive or even inactive on the sustainable supply chain innovation topic. Finally, a framework is developed which could constitute the basis for further developments and research on this issue.

Resumo: Devido à crescente preocupação com as questões ambientais, qualidade de vida e bem-estar, consumidores passaram a considerar a importância da aquisição de produtos ecologicamente corretos ou com características verdes integradas nas funções dos equipamentos. Esse cenário sugeriu a investigação da influência dos atributosAbstract: Due to the growing concerns about environmental issues, quality of life and well-being, consumers are considering the importance of obtaining eco-friendly products or devices with green functionality features. This scenario led to the investigation of the influence of green features on the intention to purchase of convergent products, with hedonic and utilitarian bases. We developed a quantitative experimental research, with application of online questionnaires at a University in the State of Pará, aiming to study the smartphones and their different usability. The results indicate increased intention of purchase of devices with "green" features on both a hedonic and a utilitarian basis. However, the addition of "green" features was more significant in the hedonic base, suggesting a utilitarian justification, reducing the guilty feeling inherent to the acquisition of hedonic products.
