At present, there are burning issues concerning waste utilization of the agro-industrial complex, rational usage of nature and transition to the use of environmentally friendly and low-waste technologies. One of the most forwardlooking areas is the application of the principles of the so-called "green chemistry", in particular, the development of technological processes using renewable raw materials and chemicals, the chemicals with a short half-life and low cost while ensuring maximum efficiency. The article presents the results of antigiberrelic preparation effect, which is characterized by low dosage and half-life in soil from 3 to 43 days on productivity, growth processes, anatomical, morphological features and functioning of the leaf apparatus of white mustard plants and rapeseed. The research shows that CCC-750 reduced the height of mustard and rapeseed plants. Inhibition of growth processes of white mustard plants at the beginning of the flowering phase with an anti-gibberellic preparation led to increased stem branching, which, in its turn, resulted in an increase in the number and area of leaves throughout the growing season. Moreover, the use of quaternary ammonium salt on winter rape plants has led to a reduction in the number of leaves and leaf area in comparison to the control samples. The application of the retardant caused an increase in the productivity of the studied cultures due to the increase in the number of pods, the increase in the mass of thousands of seeds and the number of seeds in the pod.

Mango production in the Brazilian semiarid region has gained prominence in the national scenario due to the high yield and long production period using techniques that help in the main culture stages. The aim of this work was to evaluate the use of two alternative techniques in the production of ‘Palmer’ mango in the vegetative phase. It was evaluated whether commercial potassium-based Multipotássio® fertilizer could be used as an alternative source of potassium nutrient in the maturation process of mango branches, and whether Ascophyllum nodosum algae extract MultiTurbo® biostimulant would be good alternative for fruit production. Two experiments were conducted in the same area, the first experiment with factors represented by four Multipotássio® concentrations (0; 1; 2 and 3 L ha-1) and two assessment periods in the maturation of mango branches and leaves. In the second experiment, conducted in the same area, factors Multipotássio® concentration (0; 1; 2 and 3 L ha-1) and four MultiTurbo® concentrations (0; 0.625 ml ha-1; 1. 25 ml ha-1 and 2.50 ml ha-1) were evaluated. Number and length of panicles, carbohydrate content in branches and leaves, fruiting rate, fruit mass, length and diameter and yield were evaluated. The use of potassium-based fertilizer helps to increase sugar content in 'Palmer' mango branches, which has been increasing in relation to the doses used. Biostimulants result in positive effects on the number of panicles, fruits and yield of 'Palmer' mango.

The current paper evaluated the incubation time, and doses of Uniconazole (UCZ) applied to maize seeds to verify the plants’ response at different phenological stages. MSG1001 hybrid seeds were treated with UCZ (0, 50, and 100 mg.kg-1 of seed) with different incubation times (IT – 1 min and 12 h). In the lab experiment, the treated seeds were displaced in rolls of the previously moistened Germitest paper and incubated for a week in a BOD chamber at 25ºC with a 12-hour photoperiod. In the greenhouse experiments, sowing was carried out in pots with sand, and supplementary irrigation was applied for ten days. In the field experiment, sowing was performed with 0.5 m spacing between rows in densities of 75,000 and 65,000 plants.ha-1. In the BOD and the greenhouse, the design of both experiments was entirely randomized in a double-factor scheme (IT x UCZ). A randomized block design in a triple-factor scheme (IT x UCZ x Population) was used in the field experiment. Seed treatment with UCZ did not promote germination inhibition. The concentration of 100 mg UCZ kg-1 of seed in the 12-hour IT resulted in a more significant accumulation of root mass in seedlings after one week in the BOD. In the greenhouse, plants in the V1 stage presented longer shoot lengths for the treatments that received UCZ. Incubation time influenced root length, and IT = 12 h at a concentration of 50 mg UCZ kg-1 of seed was more efficient than IT = 1 min. Application of 100 mg UCZ kg-1 of seed was more effective for accumulating chlorophylls A and B in IT = 1 min. In the field, seeds treated with UCZ changed plants for female flowering and the number of green leaves below the ear. The population of 75,000 plants.ha-1 was more productive, with UCZ contributing to the hybrid’s yield. Incubation of the seeds with 50 or 100 mg UCZ kg-1 of seed in IT = 1 min contributed to more productivity than IT = 12 h. The grains’ starch content increased with the application of UCZ at a dose of 100 mg kg-1 of seed, and the starch percentage was modified according to population density and incubation time.
