Abstract: RESUMO O artigo objetivou discutir os aprendizados com as Comunidades Ampliadas de Pesquisa-Ação (CAP) em favelas do Rio de Janeiro, como contribuição às discussões conceituais e metodológicas no campo da saúde coletiva, na perspectiva da Promoção Emancipatória da Saúde e da Educação Popular.
