Transcultural adaptation to the Brazilian Portuguese of the Postpartum Bonding Questionnaire for assessing the postpartum bond between mother and baby

Abstract: The establishment of the bond between mother and baby in the postpartum period is important for ensuring the physical and psychological health of both. “…Em relação aos anos de publicação, houve predomínio de 2018, 2019 e 2020, o que pode ser justificado pela publicação de documentos técnicos pela World Health Organization (WHO) com ênfase nos aspectos relacionados à saúde da mulher e da criança na Atenção Primária, corroborando a atualidade da temática envolvida (WHO, 2018).O emprego dos instrumentos encontrados nos artigos selecionados se deu em busca da verificação das relações familiares, com o objetivo específico de avaliar o vínculo entre mãe e filho ou as relações conjugais -e não as relações das puérperas com demais familiares. Dentre os instrumentos, o PBQ foi o mais prevalente, mas alguns aspectos podem inferir a limitação ao PBQ, como avaliação restrita da relação mãe e filho sem abranger a qualidade dos demais vínculos familiares da puérpera e o fato de ainda estar em fase de validação para a população brasileira(BALDISSEROTTO et al, 2018;GARCIA-ESTEVE et al, 2016;OHASHI et al, 2016).Dentre os artigos selecionados nesta revisão, dois instrumentos foram utilizados com o objetivo de avaliar as relações familiares das puérperas de forma ampla.
