Persistentes desigualdades raciais e resistências negras no Brasil contemporâneo

Abstract: Resumo: Este artigo aborda como o racismo se estrutura na sociabilidade brasileira e seus efeitos revelados nos índices de desigualdades sociais e raciais. Para tornar inteligíveis as relações das classes sociais em sua intersecção com a questão racial, apresentamos subsídios para repensar a edificação desta nação que se fundamenta em um conceito abstrato de democracia racial. A partir desse entendimento, destacamos as diferentes formas de resistências que têm sido constituídas pela população negra.
