Aedes aegypti on Madeira Island (Portugal): genetic variation of a recently introduced dengue vector

Abstract: The increasing population of Aedes aegypti mosquitoes on Madeira Island (Portugal) resulted in the first autochthonous dengue outbreak, which occurred in October 2012.
