Syphilis in pregnancy and congenital syphilis: women’s experiences from the perspective of symbolic interactionism

Abstract: Objectives: to understand the meanings attributed by women to the diagnosis and treatment of syphilis and congenital syphilis, and to outpatient follow-up of their children.
