Barriers faced by patients in the diagnosis of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis in Brazil

Abstract: OBJECTIVE To understand patients’ narratives about the barriers they faced in the diagnosis and treatment of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis, and their consequences in Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil.
