“…In the SUS organization flowchart, psychosocial care centers for children and adolescents (CAPSI) are the health services responsible for providing assistance to children/adolescents with severe and persistent mental illness and coordinating mental health care in a defined catchment area. 5 In short, within the SUS, patients with ASD should be detected by primary care providers and referred to local CAPSIs.
