Abstract: O artigo tem como objetivo analisar as influências que envolveram a criação do Método Natural de Georges Hébert e discutir sobre seus princípios. O Guide Pratique d'Éducation Physique (1909) é a fonte selecionada e a discussão historiográfica tem contribuição de autores como Philippe-Meden (2017), Froissart e Saint-Martin (2014).
