“…Sá et al evaluated the influence of seasonality on the chemical composition of the essential oil from Hyptis carpinifolia ( C carpinifolia ) and found β‐pinene (2.9%‐5.3%),(4.16%), prenopsan‐8‐ol (4.2%‐9.6%), β‐caryophyllene (4.4%‐10.0%), trans‐cadina ‐1(6),4‐diene (2.8%‐17.5%), and eucalyptol (39.6%‐61.8%), to be the main constituents, partially corroborating the results obtained in the present work.
