010 QUANTIFYING THE ASSOCIATION BETWEEN MORTALITY AND CHANGE IN ACE INHIBITOR AND Β-Blocker DOSE IN PATIENTS WITH CHRONIC HEART FAILURE: A PROSPECTIVE COHORT STUDY
Abstract:Background Dose escalation of evidence-based chronic heart failure pharmacotherapy in real-life does not approach that achieved in clinical trials; it is unclear whether this impacts upon mortality. We aimed to quantify the association between temporal changes in β-adrenoceptor antagonist (β-blocker) and ACE inhibitor (ACEI) dose and mortality in patients with chronic heart failure.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
