Recycling method for pyrolyzed carbon black from pyrolysis process of waste tires is needed. Carbon black from pyrolysis of waste tires was used to modify and improve the permanent deformation properties of asphalt binder. 0%, 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% of pyrolyzed carbon black was mixed. Couple of laboratory tests, such as softening point, flash point test, rotational viscometer test and dynamic shear rheometer test, were carried out. The use of pyrolyzed carbon black incresed the softening point, rotational viscosity at 135oC, and resistance of permanent deformation.
We verified reason of pain by rotator cuff disease using shoulder sonography and found a correlation between shoulder pain and stress. To find out the accuracy of sonographic prediction of rotator cuff disease among the patients with shoulder pain we surveyed 184 patients in S hospital in Seoul Korea between January to October 2012. These patients were previously diagnosed with the torn rotator cuff, adhesive capsulitis and impingement syndrom with shoulder pain. In most times, the rotator cuff disease was diagnosed among the physical workers who use shoulder excessively and also in the women in their 50~60 years of age(144 patients, 78.3%). There were significant correlation between rotator cuff disease and the stress of pain, between sonographic prediction and pain(p<.05). There were significance between shoulder pain and stress in daily life according to result for survey of
Topsoil including numerous soil seedbanks has been known to be a valuable material for ecological restoration. There is a lack of specific study for its utilization in the field of stream restoration. This study conducted a revaluation of the value of topsoil as a material for stream restoration. Furthermore, an ecological technique using topsoil was applied in an improvement project of a stream environment at the Hwanggujicheon Stream in Korea. Stockpiling and spreading topsoil was specifically applied to the revegetation of a low slope revetment and a high flow plain. The result of this application showed that topsoil played an integral role in eco-friendly restoration in terms of ecological, flood control, economic, and constructional aspects. In conclusion, this study's findings suggest that topsoil is a suitable candidate material for stream restoration.
