This study aims to clarify factors which influence people's attitude toward settling down in rebuild residential sites and resettlement sites after the Indian Ocean Great Tsunami in 2004. Interview survey and questionnaire survey were conducted in one rebuild settlement site and two resettlement sites and result of the questionnaire survey was analyzed by using Structural Equation Modeling. From the survey, it is revealed that people's attitude toward settling down in the rebuild residential site and the resettlement sites are comparatively high. Additionally, it is clarified that the influencing factors of people's attitude toward settling down are; having satisfied occupation, having adequate village infrastructure, satisfied relationship in neighborhood and good accessibility to work place and public facilities.
