In this paper, a continuous hot weather process was analyzed on Turpan basin from June 15 to June 22, 2010. The results showed that: The hot weather is mainly due to the continuous control of deep warm high ridge. Xinjiang ridge and western Pacific subtropical high formed a closed high-pressure center in Xinjiang. Strong sinking motion at highpressure system caused the process. At the same time, due to the combined effect of the topography of the basin-specific poly-thermal effects and the eastward shift of the ground thermal low pressure, high temperature of the basin increases.
