This research aims to study the importance of tourism innovation in tourism destinations which include product innovation, process innovation, organizational innovation, marketing innovation, technology innovation, green innovation, and social innovation. The research focuses on the case of Egypt and to what extent the Egyptian tourist destination adopts tourism innovation practices?. To achieve the aim of the study, the research relied on the qualitative approach (the case study). The process of tourism innovation in the Egyptian tourist destination identified by describing and analyzing innovative practices in the Egyptian tourism industry through reviewing reports and studies that dealt with tourism innovation practices in Egypt. The results showed that many innovative practices include all aspects of tourism innovation that can contribute to supporting Egypt's competitiveness as a tourist destination.
This study aims to identify The Impact of Applying Open Book Management on Organizational Innovation in Airlines. The external environment of airlines is no longer as stable, but dynamic become obvious. This has resulted in complicated and complex problems that affect the work environment badly. When there is a need for innovation, airlines is opening company records for employees, informing them of important figures, and clarifying them with achievements and failures is more important than hiding information about them. All members of the company from all levels adopt one goal, and speak one language with numbers they all understand are the important figures in the company. The study includes the concept of open Book management, the motivations for organizations to adopt the open Book management approach, the principles of open Book management strategies, the concept of functional innovation, the importance and requirements of achieving functional innovation, types and stages of functional innovation.
Customer loyalty is a vital issue for the success and sustainability of tourism industry. In addition, the concept of affiliate marketing internet business has become notable among online customers in the past years. Nevertheless, there is a few research examining customer loyalty towards affiliate marketing websites. Therefore, this research investigates customer loyalty towards travel affiliate marketing websites (booking.com). Based on previous studies, this research applies six factors (affiliate website promotion, price comparison service, WOM in social media, quality web design, privacy, trust) as essence and supplementary services which impact customer perspective in loyalty. This research aims to find out which factors in travel affiliate websites can influence customer loyalty in the in tourism industry. In this research, questionnaires are sent travel affiliate website users (booking.com) to collect quantitative data. Statistical analysis is used to verify the seven hypotheses to analyze the collected data. The result points to six factors in both core and supplementary services that support customer perspective towards loyalty. After analyzing the results of the customers, those used booking.com, the research discover that customers who booking.com have stronger opinions on 'privacy and security' factor. Customer perceived value has significant positive relations to customer satisfaction that may influence customer loyalty.
Sustainable tourism investment is one of the important topics imposed by environmental challenges to reduce the negative effects of tourism investment on the environment. Sustainable tourism investment is the investment in all tourism activities to achieve tourism development, sustainable development goals, and apply economic, social, and environmental dimensions. This research aims to evaluate sustainable tourism investment practices in Egypt. Data were collected from 356 managers through a questionnaire, which was distributed in various tourism businesses such as travel agencies, hotels, ecolodges, diving centers, and protected areas. The results revealed that tourism businesses in Egypt apply sustainable tourism investment practices. In addition that the eco-lodges are the most tourism business in Egypt that apply sustainable tourism investment practices. On the other hand, travel agencies are the least viable tourist businesses for sustainable tourism investment practices. Moreover, the results of the research indicated that Egyptian private investment projects are the most committed types of investment in implementing sustainable tourism investment. The results of this research hold important implications for the research community and tourism businesses in Egypt.
