The publication examines the activities of the Ukrainian Free University
as a research center formed by Ukrainian emigration to Europe in the
interwar period. The authors’ attention is focused on the activities of this
institution as a socio-cultural institution that allowed Ukrainians abroad to
preserve their national identity.
