В статье исследуется специфика реализация текстовых категорий связности, информативности, членимости, ретроспекции и модальности в текстах судебных решений (на материале решения Верховного суда Великобритании по делу «Perry v Raleys Solicitors»). Связность в текстах судебных решений на лексическом уровне проявляет себя наличием повторной номинации и прономинальной референции, характерных для официально-деловой речи и обеспечивающих предельно точное понимание прочитанного, а также гиперогипонимической связи. Использование же синонимии как средства связности в текстах официально-делового стиля неприемлемо, поскольку привносит изменение оттенков смысла, противоречит задаче достижения максимальной точности передачи информации. Судебному решению также присущи формы лексической когезии, выражающей себя в четкой структурированности текста, наличии разделов, подразделов и абзацев с нумерацией. Связанность текста судебного решения также обеспечивает обилие вводных слов. Информативность реализуется в тексте судебного решения посредством когнитивной информации, которую репрезентируют в первую очередь многочисленные юридические термины, а также оперативной информации, выраженной в его резолютивной части. Текстовая категория членимости, связанная с композиционной и логической организацией текста, реализуется в тексте судебного решения в полном объеме. Высокий уровень структурированности текста судебного решения позволяет реципиенту быстро ориентироваться в его содержании, облегчает восприятие информации. Категория ретроспекции имеет в тексте судебного решения важнейшее значение в связи с необходимостью описания фактической стороны рассматриваемого дела, а именно событий, произошедших в прошлом. Другой формой реализации категории ретроспекции в тексте судебного решения является цитирование нормативно-правовых актов. В текстах судебных решений также реализуются интерсубъективная, субъективно-оценочная и референтивная разновидности модальности.
