State budgetary educational institution of higher professional education «Sankt-Peterburg Chemico-Pharmaceutical Academy», Russian Ministry of Health, Sankt-Peterburg, Russian Federation, 197376 Важным компонентом снижения физической и умственной работоспособности является развитие в процессе физической нагрузки энергодефицита с последующим формированием неблагоприятных сдвигов в энергетическом обмене. The development of energy deficiency in the course of physical exercises that eventually leads to serious derangement of the energy metabolism is an important component of the deterioration of physical and intellectual working capacity. The most promising approach to the correction of impaired physical and intellectual working capacity associated with energy deficiency consists in the application of pharmaceutical preparations containing intermediate products of the tricarbonic acid cycle. Of great promise in this context is succinic acid by virtue of its oxidation in endogenous reactions that constitutes the physiological adaptive mechanism by which resistance of the organism to oxygen deficiency is promoted.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
