The necessity of the forming and development of industrial and national natural parks networks in Ukraine in accordance with the leading world initiative for responsible investment PRI is proved in article. Both types of parks are among the most effective options for organizational solutions to the problem of attracting «green» and socially responsible investments into the country’s economy. The activity of national nature parks in Ukraine on the example of the Halytsky National Park and the Skole Beskids is investigated. At the same time, if national parks are created in order to promote ecologically balanced development; the main purpose of industrial parks is connected first of all with increase of economic efficiency of attracting investment in various directions of business activity. Considering the common features of parks as organizational forms of territorial integration of economy, environment and society, as well as instruments of attraction of investments, the directions of strengthening of their role in achieving the Sustainable development goals till 2030 in Ukraine are offered. Along with the problem of the development of the industrial parks network and the formation of the national natural parks network, the idea of a «functional intersection» of these networks is justified in order to search for the new opportunities for socially and environmentally responsible investment. General practical recommendations on improvement of functions for strategic planning, stimulation and monitoring of social and ecological activity in the territory of industrial and national parks according to the Principles for Responsible Investment are worked out. Namely settlement of issues of property on natural resources and recreational facilities; owners interest and initiative on attraction of «green» investment; ensuring an integrated approach — when monitoring measures on social and environmental activities in the park networks; development of an unified information resource where data on any activities of business entities and all stakeholders in the framework of the functioning and development of the park networks is collected and analyzed etc.

An excessive increase in public debt characterizes the contemporary development of the global economic and financial system. The paper aims to examine the short- and long-run impact of state debt on economic growth in Nigeria. The model was estimated using an autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) bounds testing method to co-integration for the long-run investigation. At the same time, the contemporaneous dynamics were explored using an unrestricted error correction model. The data were collected from the Central Bank of Nigeria’s statistical bulletins and annual reports, and it spanned the years from 1990 to 2020. The study uncovers evidence of a long-term link between the study variables. In addition, the study finds that all the explanatory is statistically significant. Specifically, economic growth is significant and negatively responsive to changes in external debt by 0.19% and debt servicing by 0.07%, contrary to its positive response to changes in domestic debt and exchange rate by 0.27% and 0.18%, respectively. The paper, therefore, recommends that government may consider more domestic borrowings to foreign borrowings that should only be resorted to when it is indispensable. Moreover, the government should also strive to balance loan servicing and the economic sustainability.

This paper is devoted to the investigation of environmental, social and governance (ESG) disclosure regulation process and its possible connection with countries’ competitiveness as an integral part of countries’ Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility (CSER) poliсy. ESG disclosure regulation criteria were examined according to their classification on Pension Fund Regulation, Stewardship Code, Government Corporate ESG disclosure, and Non-Government Corporate ESG disclosure by UNPRI in 2016 and for developed countries and developing and emerging countries separately. In order to find the relationship between ESG disclosure and the countries’ competitiveness (describing by Global Competitiveness Index), variety of statistical tests was applied (Student’s t-tests, ANOVA analysis, Mann-Whitney tests, simple average analysis and regression analysis with dummy variables). Research hypotheses about statistically significant differences in ESG disclosure regulation between developed countries and developing and emerging countries and the influence of ESG disclosure regulation on the overall competitiveness of the country were proved. ESG disclosure regulation became an effective instrument of countries CSER policy and tools for increasing their competitiveness.

FINANCIAL SECURITY OF BUSINESS ENTITIES AS A REFLECTION OF THE EXTERNAL ENVIRONMENT Стаття присвячена дослідженню факторів зовнішнього середовища, які визначають рівень фінансової безпеки суб'єктів господарювання. Показано, що фінансова безпека є складною системою, яку доцільно розглядати з позиції її функціональних складових елементів. Розглянуто фактори зовнішнього середовища, які мають визначальний вплив на рівень фінансової безпеки суб'єктів господарювання. Проаналізовано макроекономічну і політичну стабільність в Україні та ступінь залежності від зовнішньої фінансової допомоги як фактори фінансової безпеки. Визначено, що протягом останніх п'яти років рівень макроекономічної і політичної стабільності суттєво знизився через зростання інфляції, збільшення державного боргу та наявність військового конфлікту на сході країні. Проаналізовано ступінь залежності України від зовнішньої фінансової допомоги відносно ВВП. Показано, що ці фактори призвели до формування негативних очікувань у суб'єктів господарювання щодо перспектив їхньої операційної діяльності та майбутніх фінансових результатів. Метою статті є формування підходів до розуміння інтегрованої звітності в процесі прийняття інвестиційних рішень, а також ідентифікації наукових шкіл у цій сфері з дальшою візуалізацією наукового ландшафту за допомогою бібліометричних карт. Методологія / методика / підхід. Методологічною основою дослідження виступають термінологічний, бібліометричний та кластерний аналіз, графічний і табличні методи систематизації визначень поняття «інтегрована звітність». Джерелом даних слугували публікації з бази Scopus за 1986–2020 рр., оброблені програмними засобами «VOSviewer». Результати. Узагальнено, проаналізовано та удосконалено підходи до трактування економічної сутності поняття «інтегрована звітність». Уперше здійснено термінологічний, бібліометричний і кластерний аналіз публікацій зарубіжних учених щодо інтегрованої звітності, який доповнено аналізом вітчизняних публікацій із цієї тематики. Найбільш значущим є кластер, що розглядає інтегровану звітність у контексті інтелектуального капіталу, корпоративного управління, корпоративної соціальної відповідальності, розкриття інформації. Дослідження цього кластеру є найбільш новими (сучасними) за хронологією. Уперше встановлено, що у вивченні інтегрованої звітності є дві основоположні наукові школи, що об’єднують представників США, Великобританії, Австралії та ЄС, представлено рейтинг найбільш цитованих статей цих авторів. На основі виконаної роботи запропоновано авторське визначення поняття «інтегрована звітність» як нового виду звітності, яка розкриває інформацію підприємства в економічному розрізі щодо фінансових, екологічних, соціальних, виробничих та управлінських показників і цілісно відображає його стратегії, ризики, стійкість бізнес-моделі, та яка призначена для задоволення інформаційних потреб усіх стейкхолдерів підприємства, зокрема інвесторів. Оригінальність / наукова новизна. Кластеризація наукових досліджень у сфері інтегрованої звітності дозоляє виявити найбільш типові підходи до її розуміння у світовій думці та окреслити науковий ландшафт у цій сфері, що дає змогу сформувати власний, практико-орієнтований підхід до її визначення. Його особливістю є поєднання термінологічного, кластерного та бібліометричного аналізу, що підвищує обґрунтованість авторського підходу. Практична цінність / значущість. Застосування авторського підходу українськими підприємствами дозволить підвищити значущість інтегрованої звітності в розкритті ними інформації про сталий розвиток, фінансові та нефінансові аспекти.
