У статті розглянуто форми психологічного насильства в організаційному середовищі: булінг, кібербулінг, булінг на робочому місці (мобінг), віктімблеймінг, харасмент, сталкінг, аутинг, газлайтинг. Доведено, що основна небезпека психологічного насильства – в доведенні жертви до психічно нестабільного стану і неадекватного сприйняття реальності, навіть до самогубства. Наведено класифікації булінгу та мобінгу. Підкреслено особливості негативних дій кривдника, такі як повторюваність і тривалість, ця характеристика негативних дій кривдника виникає завдяки тому, що, з одного боку, кривдник зберігає зацікавленість в здійсненні насильницьких дій щодо жертви довгий час і, з іншого боку, в результаті того, що жертва слабкіше і не здатна захистити себе в ситуації булінгу. Обгрунтовано, що характерною рисою булінгу є прояв кривдником проактивної агресії по відношенню до жертви, тобто наступальної, а не оборонної агресії, спрямованої на формування у жертви стану страху і розгубленості. Розглянуто відміну характеристик булінгу від характеристик інших явищ, які порушують процес конструктивного спілкування. Обгрунтовано, що булінг відрізняється від агресії, насильства, жорстокого поводження і хейзінга тим, що має такі стійкі характеристики, як тривалий повторюваний характер насильницьких дій, наявність стійких типів суб’єктів – кривдник, жертва, свідок, отже, відповідних видів девіантної поведінки, які реалізуються в ході булінгу – агресивної, віктимної та конформної. Відзначено, що булінг та мобінг – це тривалий процес, який може тривати місяцями. Виявлений механізм профілактики булінгу – діяльнісне опосередкування передбачає детермінацію поведінки і міжособистісних взаємодій членів групи змістом, цілями і завданнями групової діяльності. Здійснення групою просоціальної колективної діяльності дозволяє у її членів сформувати позитивні моральні ціннісні орієнтації, адекватну самооцінку, вміння конструктивної взаємодії та ін., а також організувати співпрацю членів колективу задля досягнення спільної мети, що дозволяє виключити появу в такій групі індивідуальних і групових факторів виникнення булінгу.
