Introduction: Many widespread intractable diseases are caused or supported by chronic inflammation. Such conditions include the 2nd type of diabetes mellitus, atherosclerosis, neurodegenerative diseases, chronic inflammatory diseases of the connective tissue-ankylosing spondylitis, rheumatoid arthritis, autoimmune myositis, etc. Therefore, the search for targeted treatment of these illnesses is extremely in high demand. Immunomodulatory activity of mesenchymal stem cells is one of their remarkable properties. Several biomarkers (cytokines and nonspecific proteins) are known to be associated with chronic inflammation. Methods: Our study aimed to investigate the serum levels of tumor necrosis factor-alpha, interleukin 6 and C-reactive protein in carrageenan myositis in rats, because there is more and more evidence of the significance of these markers in the course and resolution of the diseases mentioned above. For the first time in our experiment, it was shown and evaluated using analysis of variance, how MSCs influence the indicators of proinflammatory cytokines on the model of carrageenan myositis. The levels of α-TNF, IL-6 and CRP in the plasma of rats were studied in groups with chronic carrageenan inflammation and chronic inflammation with local injection of MSCs into the affected area. Results: Our study proved the effectiveness of MSCs by showing a significant decrease in the levels of inflammatory mediators in the plasma of the studied animals. Discussion and Conclusions: Thus, the administration of MSCs is a promising tool in the pathogenic treatment of chronic inflammation and concomitant conditions.
The purpose of the article is to theoretically substantiate, develop and test the author's program of professionally applied physical training of students of technical specialties in order to increase the efficiency of the process of physical training of specialists in accordance with modern production requirements. Based on the purpose of the study, the following tasks have been formulated: to identify the professionally applied features of physical training of specialists in the field of agricultural engineering, to develop a method of professionally applied physical training for junior specialists and to experimentally test the effectiveness of its use in the process of physical education of students. The following research methods were used to accomplish these tasks: methods of theoretical analysis and generalization of data of scientific and methodological literature, pedagogical observations, physical fitness test, pedagogical experiment, methods of mathematical statistics. Participants. The study involved the students of specialty 208 Agroengineering of the Kropyvnytskyi College of Mechanization of Agriculture, from which experimental (n=23) and control (n=21) groups of young people of 16-17 years old, belonging to the main health group, were formed. The main results of the study were: determination of professionally important physical qualities of agricultural engineers, experimental verification of the effectiveness of the author's program of complex development of professionally important physical qualities in future specialists of technical profile; a significant increase in the results of testing on the special fitness of the boys of the experimental group. Conclusions: the conducted research showed that the experimental program of special physical training of students of specialty agricultural engineering, the content of educational material of which corresponds to the peculiarities of future professional activity, provides the development of physical professionally important qualities and allows to make the choice of adequate forms, methods, tools aimed at achieving full professional potential of future specialists.
Among the features of surgical care for patients with COVID-19 are the need for strict compliance with the epidemiological regime, minimizing the number of staff in the operating room, the possible minimization of surgical interventions and reducing their duration. The most important task in these conditions is the safety of personnel.
Materials and methods. The results of surgical treatment of 85 pa-tients with acute surgical pathology are presented, and the presence of the virus was confirmed by the results of laboratory tests in 75.3 %. 24.7 % of patients had a clear picture of pneumonia of viral etiology with a high probability. All operations were performed in compliance with the epidemiological regime by pre-trained and instructed per-sonnel in compliance with the rules of asepsis and antiseptics.
Discussion of results. There are no fundamental changes in the tac-tics of management of patients with acute surgical pathology. Howev-er, in the presence of the patient, in addition to acute surgical disease, COVID-19 and viral pneumonia of varying severity, it is necessary to take into account the increased risk of both bacterial and thrombo-embolic complications.
Conclusions. Given the limitations caused by the spread of COVID-19, emergency surgical care should be provided to all pa-tients in a timely, highquality and complete manner. Any action of the emergency surgical service must be justified by the specific situa-tion, with the absolute priority of public and patient safety.
