Мета роботи: висвітлення та обговорення існуючої методики оцінювання ймовірного ризику втрати здоров’я особового складу в умовах зараження небезпечними хімічними речовинами. Матеріали та методи. В статті використані методи теорії управління та теорії ризиків. Результати. Аналіз останніх досліджень і публікацій показав, що питанню підвищення ефективності функціонування військових підрозділів в умовах зараження небезпечними хімічними речовинами присвячений ряд наукових робіт в яких проведено ряд важливих досліджень. Але розглянуті підходи не враховують ризик втрати здоров’я особового складу військ (сил) та зниження їх боєздатності в умовах зараження небезпечними хімічними речовинами. У статті розглянуто методику оцінки ймовірного ризику втрати здоров’я особового складу в умовах зараження небезпечними хімічними речовинами, яка враховує ймовірність зараження особового складу небезпечними хімічними речовинами та уразливість до втрати його життя і здоров’я. Висновки. Використання зазначеної методики дозволить автоматизувати процес оперативного планування під час фази оцінки обстановки та формування вихідних даних для планування, що дозволить здійснити оптимальний розподіл сил і засобів з урахуванням ймовірного ризику втрати здоров’я особового складу внаслідок зараження небезпечними хімічними речовинами. Також це дозволить зменшити ймовірність зараження військових об’єктів небезпечними хімічними речовинами що в свою чергу мінімізує уразливість особового складу оперативного угруповання військ та зменшить втрати здоров’я внаслідок зараження небезпечними хімічними речовинами в операційному районі.
