Резюме. Валідність використовуваних у стоматологічній практиці критеріїв PES та WES була обґрунтована у ряді клінічних та експериментальних досліджень, проте досі актуальним є вивчення складових об’єктивності та відповідності застосування таких цільовим потребам комплексної оцінки при різних видах стоматологічних втручань у ділянці власних зубів та ортопедичних конструкцій з опорою на дентальних імплантатах. Мета дослідження – ретроспективно оцінити клінічну відповідність використовуваних критеріїв оцінки рожевої та білої естетики PES та WES при різних змінах стоматологічного статусу та визначити асоціації таких із суб’єктивним сприйняттям досягнутих естетичних результатів лікування. Матеріали і методи. Пошук та відбір цільових наукових даних здійснювався у системі Google Scholar за ключовими словами та з використанням можливостей функції розширеного пошуку. Систематизація та категоризація чисельних та текстових даних проводилася у табличному редакторі Microsoft Excel 2019 (Microsoft Office, Microsoft, 2019) з подальшою побудовою граф-логічної структури, яка включала основні ідентифіковані аспекти проведеного ретроспективного аналізу. Результати досліджень та їх обговорення. В результаті проведеного аналізу вдалось встановити наступні ключові аспекти особливостей застосування параметрів PES та WES у клінічній стоматології: 1) актуальною є потреба розробки більш деталізованої шкали інтерпретації та відповідно уніфікованого підходу до категоризації значень складових критеріїв у структурі обрахунку значень PES/WES; 2) за даними окремих досліджень рівень кореляції між параметрами PES/WES та суб’єктивною задоволеністю пацієнта по відношенню до досягнутих естетичних результатів є недостатнім; 3) критерії PES/WES не враховують складову виживання імплантатів як елемент комплексної системи оцінки успішності проведеного лікування. Висновки. Критерії оцінки параметрів білої та рожевої естетики PES та WES характеризуються високим рівнем клінічної відповідності поставленим завданням контролю змін естетичних характеристик стоматологічного статусу при дентальній імплантації, ортопедичній реабілітації та м’якотканинні аугментації, що дозволяє використовувати їх в процесі клінічного моніторингу.
