The works on improvement of the primary measurement standard of the unit of electrical resistance held in the NSC "Institute of Metrology" are considered. It is shown that the main results are the including of the equipment for reproduction of the unit of resistance based on quantum Hall effect to the composition of the measurement standard as well as the significant improvement of the accuracy and the expansion of resistance range. The principles of construction of the measurement standard, its hardware implementation, the methodology of the study are shown. The prospects for further improvement of the measurement standard are analyzed.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
