Свекла столовая – ценная культура, используемая во многих странах и в России для пищевых целей. Так, в народном хозяйстве она используется во множестве блюд, таких как супы, салаты, домашние заготовки. В пищу употребляются как сам корнеплод, так и его листья, а также сок. Свекла достаточно калорийный корнеплод по сравнению с другими овощами, отлично утоляет голод и слабо влияет на фигуру. Цель исследования заключалась в изучении степени поражения всходов сортов и гибридов свеклы столовой корнеедом, выявлении устойчивых форм и разработки мер защиты и возможности получения стабильного урожая корнеплодов. Научная новизна состоит в том, что впервые дана сравнительная характеристика сортов Бордо 237, Мулатка, Детройт, Цилиндра и гибридов Пабло F1, Акела F1, Рондо F1, Бетти F1 свеклы столовой в фитосанитарной технологии возделывания. Изучен вопрос защиты всходов сортов свеклы столовой Бордо 237 и Мулатка от корнееда путем протравливания семян фунгицидами ТМТД, ВСК (тирам – 400 г/л) – 8 кг/т; Апрон Голд, ВЭ (350 г/л – мефеноксам) – 0,5 л/т; Максим, КС (флудиоксонил – 25 г/л) – 5 л/т; Альбит, ТПС – 0,1 л/т. Вариант опыта по совместному применению Апрон Голд, ВЭ (350 г/л – мефеноксам) – 2,0 л/т + Максим, КС (флудиоксонил – 25 г/л) – 5 л/т оказался наиболее эффективным. Получена высокая биологическая и хозяйственная эффективность. В производственных условиях ЗАО «Картофель» Кетовского района Курганской области в 2021–2022 годах урожайность свеклы столовой гибрид Рондо F1 составила 540–550 ц/га.
