Аннотация. Многие очистные сооружения металлургических предприятий физически и морально устарели. Часто практикуется совместная нейтрализация известковым молоком отработанных травильных растворов (ОТР) и промывных вод (ПВ) с последующим сбросом "обезвреженных" таким образом агрессивных сточных вод в накопители отходов. В связи с этим внедрение современного оборудования и технологий для очистки агрессивных сточных вод является чрезвычайно актуальной задачей. Цель работы -научно обоснованный выбор типов флокулянтов и их оптимальных дозировок для обработки осадков, образующихся при нейтрализации ОТР и ПВ. Отражены результаты исследований флокуляционной обработки осадков действующих очистных сооружений (станции нейтрализации) одного из трубопрокатных заводов Урала. Исследовали реально образующиеся осадки двух типов: осадок от нейтрализации травильных растворов и осадок промывных вод. В ходе работы оценивали эффективность применения для кондиционирования этих осадков высокомолекулярных флокулянтов катионного, анионного и неионного типов. В качестве критерия эффективности флокуляции принято наименьшее время капиллярного всасывания воды из обработанного флокулянтом осадка, определяемое с использованием специального таймера капиллярного всасывания и хроматографической бумаги Whatman 17 Chr. В результате проведенных исследований установлено, что для кондиционирования осадка от нейтрализации ОТР эффективен неионогенный флокулянт Праестол 2500 (доза 5 кг/т), а для осадка от нейтрализации ПВ -анионный флокулянт Праестол 2540 (доза 2 кг/т). После предлагаемой флокуляционной обработки осадки могут быть направлены на сгущение и механическое обезвоживание. Кондиционирование осадков флокулянтами позволит увеличить производительность обезвоживающего оборудования.Ключевые слова: нейтрализация отработанных травильных растворов и промывных вод, очистка сточных вод, высокомолекулярные флокулянты, кондиционирование осадков флокулянтами, время капиллярного всасывания.
