У более четверти лиц старших возрастов констатированы когнитивные расстройства, и артериальная гипертензия рассматривается как фактор, усугубляющий подобные нарушения. Приводится анализ воздействия некоторых гипотензивных препаратов на когнитивные функции больных указанной категории. Полученные данные свидетельствуют о том, что эффективно проведённая гипотензивная терапия позволяет уменьшить частоту развития нарушений со стороны познавательной функции у данной категории пациентов. Пандемия вируса иммунодефицита человека (ВИЧ) продолжается уже более 30 лет [1]. По оценкам экспертов ВОЗ к началу 2016 года в мире уже насчитывалось примерно 36,9 (34,3-41,4) миллионов людей c ВИЧ-инфекцией, из них 2,1 млн. были впервые инфицированы указанным заболеванием. В Восточной Европе и Центральной Азии отмечаются самые быстрые темпы роста заболеваемости ВИЧ в мире [2]. В течение последнего десятилетия число ВИЧ-инфицированных в Республике Таджикистан продолжает неуклонно расти. По данным Республиканского центра по профилактике и борьбе со СПИДом Министерства здравоохранения и социальной защиты населения РТ зарегистрировано 7709 больных ВИЧ-инфекцией. После введения в практику высокоактивной антиретровирусной терапии (ВААРТ) смертность, обусловленная ВИЧ-инфекцией, существенно уменьшилась, продолжительность жизни пациентов заметно увеличилась, и на первый план всё чаще выходит проблема сердечно-сосудистой патологии, косвенно или прямо связанная с этой инфекцией [3]. Так, за последние 10 лет у пациентов ВИЧ-инфекцией участились случаи внезапной сердечной смерти (ВСС) [4-6].
