Приведен обзор Всероссийской научной конференции в форме “круглого стола” журналов “Государство и право” и “Правовая политика и правовая жизнь” на тему “Уголовное наказание: состояние, система, проблемы, тенденции, перспективы совершенствования”, которая состоялась 26 мая 2017?г. в Юридическом институте Югорского государственного университета. Актуальность публикации данных материалов обусловлена значимостью роли уголовного наказания в современном государстве и обществе. Цель “круглого стола” - проанализировать состояние и проблемы наказания в российском уголовном праве, характеризующих его специфику и особенности, выработка конструктивных предложений по его развитию и совершенствованию. Участники “круглого стола” обсудили различные аспекты современного состояния уголовного наказания в российском праве. В выступлениях обосновываются роль и значение системы уголовного наказания, приводятся как критические замечания, так и новые предложения по развитию уголовного наказания. Обращается внимание на актуальность и значимость уголовного наказания для российского общества и государства.
Даны материалы научной конференции “Право и интерес (Р.?Иеринг)”, состоявшейся 20 декабря 2017?г. на юридическом факультете МГУ им. М.В.?Ломоносова. Тема соотношения права и интереса в трактовке известного немецкого юриста Р.?Иеринга оценивалась участниками конференции в рамках философии права, политики права, истории политических и правовых учений, социологии права, методологии юридической науки. Участники конференции дали разносторонний анализ теории Иеринга и обратили внимание на актуальность многих положений его политико-правовой доктрины для современной юриспруденции и догмы права: оценка права как интереса, соотношение цели права и его содержания, исследование форм борьбы за право, зависимость права от уровня правосознания народа.
