Conducting clinical and laboratory studies made it possible to establish atypical forms of lichen planus in 33 out of 102 (32.4%) patients, one of the causes of which was premorbid conditions. The lesion of the oral mucosa was regarded as an unfavorable sign of the further course of lichen planus, which was more often recorded in atypical forms of dermatosis. In the treatment of patients with lichen planus, a hydrolyzate of the placenta extract was used, 4 ml of the drug per 200.0 ml of physiological solution (drip), 10 infusions were performed per course of treatment. The expediency and effectiveness of the use of the hydrolyzate of the placenta extract in patients with lichen planus, especially in its atypical forms, was noted, preventing damage to the oral mucosa in this dermatosis.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
