The relevance of the research topic is due to the growing interest in everyday culture. A suit is one of the most necessary elements of everyday life for a person, constantly present in material culture at all times. In national clothes, the values of the time, consonant with the era, are objectively fixed. The national costume is comprehensively considered in the context of socio-historical processes, using the principle of historicism and interdisciplinary, comparative, historical, logical, problem-chronological methods. The purpose of the research is to show the spatial and temporal processes of distribution, development of traditional clothes of Dagestan, general and special in cut, the way of wearing clothes among different nationalities, to analyze the transformation of the national costume in the specified chronological framework. Scientific novelty is seen in the fact that the analysis of diverse sources has made it possible to identify regional features of the national clothes of the highlanders: the impact of social and economic transformations in the Republic on changes in national clothes, its unification. The factors accelerating these processes have been determined. The author concludes that during the period under review, the transformation of the national clothes of Dagestan was greatly influenced by fundamental social and economic changes in the Dagestan village: the deployment of collectivization, resettlement. The theoretical and practical significance of the work is determined by the expansion of scientific knowledge about the national clothes of the highlanders, as an important component of everyday life, reflecting the specifics of the people.
For the new socialist state, the issue of providing qualified personnel was of key importance, because the implementation of the tasks outlined by the Soviet government depended on it. The article uses documentary materials extracted from the funds of the Central State Archive of the Republic of Dagestan and monographic research to highlight the policy of nomination in solving the personnel problem of the Republic of Dagestan in the 1930s.
The article deals with some aspects of the daily life of Dagestani artisans of the first twenty years of the XX century. Issues of industrial labor and life of artisans are reflected in official documents of the Republican party bodies, and in the materials of the Dagestan handicraft Union. The purpose of the research is to identify traditions and innovations in the daily work and life of Dagestani artisans at the turn of two different historical epochs. When writing the article, we used documentary sources of the Central state archive of the Republic of Dagestan, materials of the periodical press, which allowed us to conduct a comparative analysis of three levels of everyday life of artisans: the traditional, revolutionary period and the formation of the Soviet way of life. During the study period, the reorganization of handicraft production was carried out, which was associated with certain difficulties and costs.
The article is devoted to the demographic processes in the Dagestan village in one of the most dramatic periods of its history. The purpose of the study is to study the number, age and sex composition of the rural population, ethnic structure, migration. The scientific novelty of the work is seen in the fact that a comparative analysis of demographic processes in rural areas was carried out based on the materials of the three All-Union population censuses of 1926, 1937 and 1939. Attention is drawn to the negative consequences of the Civil War for the population of Dagestan. The results of a comparative analysis of the sex composition of the villagers are presented; a constant predominance of the female population over the male population is revealed. Attention is paid to the uneven territorial distribution of the villagers. The changes observed in the national composition of the republic are revealed. According to the All-Union Population Census of 1939, small people were not singled out, they were included in the main nationalities. The author comes to the conclusion that during the period under study in the Dagestan village, the demographic situation gradually improved. The number of villagers grew mainly due to natural increases. When writing the work, official documents of the republican Soviet and party bodies, survey materials of the Workers' and Peasants' Inspectorate, and the works of Russian social scientists were used.
