The article examines theoretical and applied recommendations for transformation of the global food market in the system of global economic development. The development of modern global food market under conditions of its rapid internationalization can be achieved on the basis of high share added value production, that ensures the competitiveness of its producers in the domestic and foreign markets, and the basis of modern advanced technologies introduced in agricultural and food products.According to the WTO, food export are the component of agricultural products. The specific weight of global food exports in the total export of goods is constantly increasing both due to the increase in food prices and the increase in terms of volumes. It is predicted that this trend will continue in the future, and this will definitely affect the transformation of the global food market.
