Фитомеланин – уникальный компонент растительного происхождения, полученный из лузги подсолнечника, обладающий фото- и радиопротекторным действием, эффективно защищающий кожу от повреждающего воздействия УФ-лучей разной длины волны. Меланин содержится в любых живых организмах, в том числе и в растениях. Выявлено, что препараты с меланином предотвращают язвообразование, снижают число кровоизлияний в слизистой желудка и препятствует уменьшению общей массы тела в условиях стресса. Присутствие меланина в пищевых продуктах и изделиях способствует их длительному хранению. Водные экстракты, стабилизированные фитомеланином, дают возможность получить принципиально новую по своим свойствам лечебную косметику. Поиск путей получения фитомеланинов из отходов растительного сырья является актуальной задачей, стоящей перед научным сообществом. Коллективом исследователей предложен способ получения водорастворимых фитомеланинов из подсолнечной лузги, являющейся отход масличного производства. Основным этапом получения является щелочная экстракция, протекающая при температуре 120 °С в течение 1 ч. В качестве экстрагента предложено использовать раствор едкого натра различной концентрации. Полученный экстракт подкисляют раствором соляной кислоты до pH pH 1,0 – 2,0, отделяют, нейтрализуют и сушат. Для полученной субстанции подтвердили меланоидных характер с помощью качественных реакций, определили адсорбционную способность по отношению к метиленовой сини. Налучшие образцы имели активность от 50 до 79 мг/г сухого вещества. С помощью модельной тест-системы из желтка куриного яйца была определена общая антиоксидантная активность, которая составила от 10% до 28%. Полученная субстанция может быть использована в качестве лечебно-профилактического препарата или биологически активной добавки к пище.Основные этапы выделения фитомеланинов из подсолнечной лузги включают щелочную экстракцию измельченной подсолнечной лузги при нагревании в течение 1 – 2 ч, фильтрацию, осаждение минеральными кислотами при pH 1,0 – 2,0, отделение, промывку и сушку полученного осадка. В полученном осадке определялась адсорбционная способность по отношению к метиленовому синему и общая антиоксидантная активность на модельной тест-системе. Адсорбционная способность полученных фитомеланинов составила от 50 до 79 мг/г субстанции.
Имбирь, как пряность и лекарственное растение с древних времен и по настоящее время пользуется большим спросом в Индии и в Китае благодаря широкому спектру действия на организм человека. В дикой природе сам имбирь не вырастает, поэтому в промышленных масштабах его выращивают на специальных плантациях, которые охватывают большие территории. Немаловажны для активного роста растения и климатические условия. Стандартные программы разведения имбиря затруднительны из-за низкой продуктивности и недостатка естественного количества семян. Биотехнологический метод культивирования клеток растений дает возможность получить неограниченное количество идентичных клеток за 3-4 недели. Исходным материалом для проведения исследований и получения каллусных культур клеток служили корневища, стебли и листья Zingiber sp. Для получения первичных каллусов и их дальнейшего культивирования использовали различные модификации среды Мурасиге и Скуга, а также среды Гамборга. Экспланты культивировали при температуре 26 °С и влажности 60–70 %, в темноте. Цикл выращивания составлял 25–30 суток. По результатам анализа были получены новые данные о свойствах культур клеток растений рода Zingiber, предложены пути решения ряда глобальных экологических проблем, а также в результате использования классического метода получения каллусной культуры стерильного интактного растения был получен новый исходный штамм клеток in vitro имбиря со стабильными ростовыми характеристиками.
